This building was literally just announced and nearly halfway vertical. Lol well I guess it is only a small amount of units.

Being poured off site in optimal condition in a form in an assembly line, then cured, trucked in and hoisted into place. Way faster then building forms over and over on site.

Why. Can’t they do that with more buildings? Expense?

Overtime, I would think these snapped together precast concrete buildings could shift and separate - causing structural issues. I know that’s a concern and has happened with some of the snap together parking decks, and I’ve heard of college dorms having similar issues (that were built the same way). I’m certainly no expert, but on-site steel or cast concrete seems to be a higher quality method.

I’m interested to see what they do with the facade, because the renderings indicated this could either look great or very cheap - depending on how they finish the exterior.

Its likely the windows are going to make this project, because more or less, what you see is what you get.
