A good read about how residents in Prosperity Village are disappointed in the new Chick-Fil-A and the walkable town center they thought would exist has just become suburban sprawl of junk tract homes and strip malls (that won't age well).

Sad. You can see the potential of that street network and the couple of good developments it got (townhomes, a couple retail buildings abutting the sidewalk). But who's to know whether those bad developments will ever get redeveloped properly...

I'm really glad that the community is speaking up about this issue. In theory, the new UDO/form-based code would have resolved this problem before it even arose.

Atrium Health has approved money for new medical office buildings and a new free standing emergency room (Rea Farms Village) and the rest are around 485 in Harrisburg and one in Rock Hill

I did not start it but someone told me that is what they used to do or did in the past so I started using it. 

and yes I think that tall redwood tree along I-485 looks so natural
