DT Buildings Breaking the 100 ft Mark.

Ok, in case anyone is interested, here is a thread to record all of our "high-rises." I thought it might be fun to watch the list grow over the coming years as DT picks up more and more steam. Here is an early list, I am sure there are others either existing or already under construction. Please add any that you are aware of. Here are some I found on Emporis:

 

1. Landmark  -               305

2. BoA -                         228

3. One Liberty Sq -        218

4. Towers East -            192

5. Two Liberty Sq -        174

6. One North -               173

7. One South-               170

8. Poinsett Plaza -         167

9. Westin Poinsett -       154

10. City Hall -                 141

11. Liberty Building -     132

12. St Francis -              128

13. Wachovia -              115

14. Terrace at Rvpl -     103

15. Hampton Inn -         103

I don't know about the accuracy of all these, I have doubts about the last few all being 103 feet. Also, what about the other Riverplace buildings?

 

We can add in One Phase 3, and Embassy Suites - don't know the heights. Also, what about, Rivers Edge? I think I also saw that 121 Rhett will be just over 100 feet, not sure about Link West appts. Any others existing or under construction?

Updated this list with couple of changes and addition of Aloft (One Phase 3).

I think that Rivers edge could be around 100ft, (emporis says 89) and not sure about 121 Rhett or the new building going up at corner of main across from Reedy Park. Can anyone think of anything else that is at the 100 ft mark, or know the heights of these other buildings?

What about the spire of GraceChurch (aka old Downtown Baptist?).

Several buildings built over the past couple of years that would be added. Put in Camperdown Appt and Office buildings with an approxiate height, as well as the new courthouse building that will happen eventually. 

Other possibilities - maybe gman can help with these?

Residence Spring Hill Suites

Homewood Suites

Grand Bohemian hotel may be close as well.

An update. Changed Landmark to 325 since that is the true height, added and adjusted a few. I'll have to see if I can find heights for Homewood, Hyatt Place, and Residence Inn hotels as they might apply as well. There are a few others proposed I think, and we'll probably have a few to add over the next decade for county square and the convention center.  Next we need to work on breaking that 300 and 400 ft barrier at least once.

Updated. Some of the numbers changed based on other sources, who knows how exact these all are. Many of the old numbers came from emporis, but that is now gone, and those may not have been completely accuarate. I tried to use numbers from renderings for some of these newer ones. From the link cited above, I adjusted some of the heights, which indicates that 1 Liberty Sq is actually the second tallest building. It's a 17 story office building so could very well be true. It also shows Poinsett Plaza is taller than we thought and Towers East is shorter. I added in a couple of the proposals that seem to be pretty solid, but didn't include ones we haven't heard much about like the S Main site, Convention Center, Grace Church residential, or any of the County Sq buildings. If you guys can think of others or have any corrections feel free to ammend.
