Will Cool Springs turn into a Buckhead eventually? Or will zoning always prevent some "highrises"?

Doubtful because they probably don't want to hide the hills from view. I mean, once you get beyond all the parking and relatively same looking suburban office buildings, regardless of how "urban" some are planned.

Nolensville's planning commission approves the Nolensville Martin's Campus site plan, which would build three new structures and 132 parking spaces on 6.3 acres, along with a children's play area and asphalt trail in the flood plain area behind the development. With over 13,600 square feet planned, two of the buildings would house Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint and 55 South.

I got something in the mail about that. It sounded very nice and had lots of options when it comes to exercises, classes, and weight. I am tempted to sign up just because they have an outdoor lap pool. But for a facility that large I feel like it would be a constant fight for a lane.

From Nashville Post:

Ramsey Solutions officials held a ceremonial groundbreaking today on their future corporate headquarters building in Williamson County. The estimated move-in date is August 2019, according to a release.

The future building will span 223,000 square feet and will include a coffee shop and bookstore for guests watching “The Dave Ramsey Show” live in the studio, as well as office space for more than 1,000 Ramsey Solutions employees.

“We are moving at the speed of cash,” Dave Ramsey, company founder, said in the release. “Being debt free is not just something I talk about on the radio, and it’s not just for personal finance. Our company has always been debt free, and building a new campus will not change that. We are cash flowing the entire building process.”

Ramsey Solutions in 2015 bought the 47 acres of land in the Berry Farms development and on which the headquarters building is planned. The company currently occupies more than 150,000 square feet of office space across multiple locations in Cool Springs.

Here's the Ramsay HQ footprint.  What an incredible waste of land.  A parking garage should be in the plans like at Franklin Park off McEwen. :(

Ghastly...an absolutely shameful and irresponsible waste of space.  I am SO SICK of this mindset that if there is open natural space that can be used, then it should be used, as if nature has no value.  This has to stop.
