It's official: The 3.52 million sq. ft., 92 ft. tall warehouse in Wilson county will, indeed, be a massive Amazon Distribution Center that will employ 1,200 people.

On a (somewhat) related note. I had to drive from Nashville to Knoxville a couple weeks ago and saw a tower crane at Lebanon's main exit (where the food court is). At first I thought that's where the AMZN warehouse was going then remembered it's going up in Mt. Juliet. So what is going up at that spot?

I drive by there every day and don't recall seeing a crane at that exit.  But there is a crane at the next exit, Hwy 70 Lebanon/Watertown.  The Royal Canin dog food factory there is expanding vertically and has a large crane in place.

Since we don't have a thread for Cheatham County, I'll place this here:  a 4 story, 75 room Hampton Inn is now u.c. at 1609 Highway 12 South in Ashland City.  D&S Hospitality is the developer.

Grade work is being done on the 75 acres in Mt Juliet that will house a 3.6 million square foot Amazon facility at the corner of Division and Golden Bear Gateway.  It'll be one of the largest building in Tennessee, and with 85 percent of it office space, it'll be one of the largest office buildings in the state, too, with 1200 workers.  The city of Mt Juliet is not offering any incentives or tax breaks to Amazon, either.
