Does anyone know what is up with Ovation? They haven't updated their FB page since November. They haven't announced a tenant since a bowling alley last year (and a similar concept already opened at the Galleria). Odd.

There were big trucks moving dirt last month. There is a lot of land on that site, so I imagine it will take a long time to grade.

^^Isn't the blue area mostly tapped out already?

This is the issue you face when you only allow shorties....AND...you allow them to each use up acre after acre of land for parking ONLY!

The part North of Cool Springs is mostly, so who knows what might go in there. Still a few spots that could be built on. Between Cool Springs and McEwan is really just the Franklin Place area, unless Nissan wanted to build more. I think we'd be most likely to see the tall ones in the Franklin Place development and that small sliver south of McEwan. Funny that Ovation isn't included in this new section.

Of course, most of you know this college sold their properties on West End to a developer for dozens of high dollar townhouses. Last time I was up in Nashville, I noticed those are well underway. So where have the students been?

They didn't sell the whole campus, just the former homes fronting West End. Here's a map of their remaining facilities in Richland Park.

45-acre, $270 million mixed-use project south of Cool Springs by Boyle Investment and Northwood Investors to break ground by year's end, and will roll-out in phases. Will feature roughly 750,000 square feet of first-class office space, more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, a 150-room hotel, 580 upscale apartment units, and nearly 5,000 parking spaces.

Hopefully Spring Hill has learned something from their current traffic mess and a big part of this is improving roads around it.  Also, I believe a lot of this is going to be dependent on them getting the new interchange with 65 at Buckner Rd.  Otherwise, trying to get to anything in the development would be a nightmare.
