More details on the Dover Speedway deal and possible implications for its future redevelopment.  Panattoni will also pay-off 17.1 million in bond obligations, bringing the value of the deal up to $44.6 million. Looks like the initial plan is to keep the 25,000 seat grandstand and track, and utilize other portions of the 1,380-acre site for an industrial park.

It is a shame all those beautiful trees are allowed to be cut down.

Didn't see this one posted...from Franklin Home Page

"The newest Cool Springs office project will crown the hill at the Franklin entrance to the commercial and retail hub of the county.

101 Cool Springs, so-dubbed by its developer the Ritzen Group, Inc, will be  a five-story building with 150,000 square feet of Class A office space and a ground-floor restaurant and patio on the western corner of Mack Hatcher and Cool Springs Boulevard."

Saw a sign beside the Lowes on Sam Ridley for a TJ Maxx.  I remember that before the recession a plan for a JC Penney anchored shopping center was planned for that wooded area.  Does anybody know if they are going ahead with the shopping center?  I've never seen TJ Maxx as a standalone building before.

Not sure how I missed it, but here's the article:

TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, Five Below.

When I drove by the other day, they were clearing the land.
