It's interesting that the Riverview Inn will be branded as a Hilton now. It will be the centerpiece of an arena associated development.

Clarksville is getting so fancy-schmancy I may have to start wearing a clean shirt when I go visit.

Just make sure you have drawers on....

The Predators have signed a deal with Multipurpose Events Center (MPEC) in downtown Clarksville to construct an additional sheet of ice for youth hockey leagues, adult hockey leagues and open skating sessions. In addition, the ice will be used to host local hockey tournaments as well.  This will make the 3rd Predators-run ice rink(s) in the area joining Ford Ice Centers in Antioch and Bellevue.  The MPEC will have another sheet of ice within the arena that will seat 5,000 for hockey, and 6,500 for concerts.

Austin Peay is currently the primary tenant of the arena, signing a 30-year lease at the beginning of October to house the Govs’ men’s and women’s basketball programs, including coaches’ offices, locker rooms and practice facilities. The agreement is part of a $30 million partnership between the university and Montgomery County.

From NBJ:  Developer Nathan Lyons and his twin brother, Joel, have begun renovating King's Creek Golf Club in Spring Hill. The course is set to reopen in November; the brothers aim to break ground in January on a second round of renovation and construction to "create an upscale recreation and entertainment venue for the whole family," per a press release. The Lyons hired Atlanta-based Bobby Jones Links to manage the public course, which was designed by icon Arnold Palmer.

There are at least five coming to the Nashville area: Murfreesboro, Madison, Hermitage, Lebanon, and Gallatin.

The Multi-purpose Events Center that Montgomery County has proposed for downtown Clarksville is underway as fencing and barriers have been installed around the perimeter of the site and all structures have been removed. Some information; it will seat about 5,000 for hockey and Austin Peay basketball. Updated renderings and video here from the Rufus Johnson website who are apparently handling the bid letting aspect of construction. Their letting schedule (in green) indicates 'Package #2 is complete and Package #3 is impending.

Minor League Ice Hockey has been continually mentioned as a future occupant of the main arena. The designer, Convergence Design, still have a couple of the original renderings on their website which is confusing.

Bumping to this page to provide context to the below renderings.
