I don't know if this is big... as FedEx and UPS both have "hubs" at what seems like every Interstate exit between "here" and the next Amazon "hub".  However, I read the link today that FedEx is putting one in Mt. Juliet along I-40.  This computer does not allow me to paste links.  Sorry... but the Tennessean has the story.

A new movie 12 screen movie theater was approved near MTSU. It will be a Marquee Cinemas. Also approved on Medical Center Parkway was a Dollar General, Courtyard Marriott, and BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. BJ's will be the first store in Tennessee.

I would think we would have a better chance of landing the Under Armour project at this interchange, with Fed-Ex have a distribution site their as well.

The previous version included apartments. The Williamson co side of Brentwood seems to be anti-apartments.

I think we mentioned it a while back (not sure which thread), but the presumed hotel building on the south end of Cool Springs Galleria (next to Brewhouse South/Hampton Inn) is a TownPlace Suites by Marriott. It's not a brand I'm familiar with, but here's the site/rendering:

I certainly don't find it attractive...but consider the area. Do you want Mall View or Interstate View?

 

To me, it's just hotel rooms. Good for padding the numbers and drawing big events.
