Not sure how this was missed, but Raleigh has a new Aloft hotel opening in Brier Creek in November 2015.

Business is up, more people are traveling on business into RTP, and they're looking for hotel rooms nearby without having to drive all the way into Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill. Restaurant availability at Briar Creek makes hotels nearby more palatable.
