School Districts Revenue Sharing Plan

Not sure if this is worthy of its own topic or not, but in my opinion this story that was just posted tonight on GoUpstate is a BIG deal. For the first time, the seven Spartanburg County school districts look like they are about to agree to a revenue-sharing deal that would spread tax revenue from FILOT agreements to all seven districts, regardless of where the actual project is located. This is a long-overdue, and very important, step:

First of all, the fact that there are 7 school districts is crazy. If there were one or two this wouldn't be an issue. That being said, I think its a good idea to use the faster growing parts of the county to support the education system for the remaining areas.
