What's Going Up in Seattle?

I might be visiting Seattle later this year, just wanted to find out what was going on and what was being built in the city.

Currently under constrution:

42-story tower which will contain Washington Mutual offices and expansion of the Seattle Art Museum.

2 hotels... one next to Safeco Field and Qwest Stadium, the other is one block north of the Federal Building.

On the north edge of Downtown, a complex conaining a hotel and retail stores (including Whole Foods Markets).

One or two buildings on the south edge of downtown and next to I-5 (west edge).

The construction schedule indicates it will be completed in early 2006.

There was an accident there last month.

Other construction going on in Seattle:

Central Link light rail (along the busway in the SODO area and MLK Way south of the intersection of Rainier Ave.)

Something being built (possibly apartments or condos) across the street from the REI store.

The Cosmopolitan Condominiums - 9'th & Virginia.

Denny Park Apts (low income housing) - 8'th & Thomas.
