can someone put together a map that overlays a color over all the actual property owned by Amplify GR in this process?

also, is the Azzar Store Equipment building THAT Azzar of the Keeler building fame? If so... that will be a difficult negotiation to buy up the whole neighborhood.

Yes, it's the same Azzar. His antics with those properties have caused consternation in the past:

Not exactly what you asked for, but here's all the properties the story mentions (the story says they own 32, but I only counted 30 addresses listed, unless I overlooked a couple) on a map:

It gives a pretty good idea of what they're up to (especially if you look at the satellite version).

That's a lot of land and buildings, once you stop and look at them all on a map.  And they really don't appear to be buying up single family homes, other than those which are in direct proximity to commercial space.  I assume those would be razed for parking or driveways.  They are along or very close to Kalamazoo, so razing them would make good sense.  Had the local economy in this area not hit the skids, they would have been razed decades ago.  On the whole, they have accumulated enough stuff to do something big with it.  I assume they must plan to spend a lot of money, since just buying up property in a depressed part of town isn't going to get you much.  That's over $10 million just to get some sort of ball rolling....

I think I found the missing two: 1110 Evergreen and 226 Eugene.  The LLCs listed as owners for these parcels are the same as the parcels they border.  They are included in the map above.

You should add the old PB Gast Building at 1515 Madison to this list.

I missed this story a couple weeks ago, but the blighted structure at 1414 Madison was struck by lightning and is coming down.  It's the  small red (  )-shaped parcel in the middle on the map above.

Seems like this building was destined to come down anyway but this will expedite things.  Jekel Moving has some historic photos of this building on their site: http://jekelmoving.com/historical_photos
