Yeah, that entire section would be better utilized if they sold it to someone to put something else on, rather than occupying that prime real estate with that awkward-looking appendage.

Oh, well... This is still a win for us, I say!

So, these are old renderings, correct?  It would seem so, in that there doesn't seem to be enough square footage to accommodate 250 luxury hotel rooms/suites and 200 luxury residential units that were in the announcement and sketches 2 weeks ago.  This design seems to be more of a hotel only, with a rather substantial ballroom/meeting space annex on the north end.
