300 South Tryon and Kimpton Hotel

Good news on the office leasing front the 300 tower is now 50% leased as they only advertising 315,000 sq mostly on the lower 12 floors according to an ad I saw today.

My pro friend took these photos of the Kimpton LOVE this hotel and of course adjoining tower.

This side of the linear park is starting to take shape.

Ballroom is almost finished.

I love the sunken patio along the linear park.  Anyone know if someone has leased this restaurant space?

A nice boutique or two instead of a restaurant would be nice too. Starting to see boutiques off S.Boulevard in Southend. Hope some of the new retail space in the new buildings includes some shopping.

I will say it again this development has exceeded my expectations great job Spectrum and Barings! From today. I like it from the top to the bottom even with the huge marble lobby. Can not wait until the Kimpton and its rooftop space opens!

Looks like the news that BofA was pushing 3rd party tenants out of BofA Corp Center is yielding new leases here, with 2 law firms taking a full floor apiece.

King & Spaulding is taking all of 17

Winston & Strawn is taking all of 16

and half of 14th floor is taken too by whom I don't know. And they renumbered the floors there is no longer a 13th floor it skips from 12 to 14.

^^^ That 1/2 floor is being taken by CapTech, and IT consulting firm that is currently in Charlotte Plaza.  If lease data is correct, they are only in about 3,500 sf now, so that will be a significant expansion to ~13k feet.

Park is way too loose of a term.  It's basically and over sized pavered sidewalk with planting strips

Agree, but waaaayyy better than what's going on with the sidewalk right across 3rd street!
