For some reason this font/design reminds me of a Ouija board, which seems ironic considering this is a Lifeway building. Anybody else see it?

I hadn't seen that, but now that you mention it ..   :) What caught my eye was the pool table in the break room. That would have gone over like a lead balloon in my fundamentalist upbringing. Amazing how things change over 40-50 years!

What I really liked was the grand piano on the balcony ..  since I've sold my real piano and now have an electric, I may have to stroll over sometime and do a little southern gospel for them. If the roof doesn't crash in on me when I darken the doorway! :whistling:

You're always welcome in the Father's house!  Go in there and make a joyful noise!

Every time I hear/read "joyful noise", it makes me think of this record. This was written by a guy called Robert Hood - a very influential and old school Detroit Techno producer and deejay. He was later ordained as a minister at some point in his life and moved to Alabama, but I don't know what church he's at.

Anyway, here's the record. He sampled "We Magnify Your Name" by Shekinah Glory Ministry quite liberally and to great effect. This record goes down beautifully on a dancefloor.

Same. I'll say this, though: He took us ALL to church at the Movement festival on May 23, 2015! Getting down outside on Hart Plaza with all that beautiful Detroit architecture standing guard is a beautiful thing, dude :)

That's the one! Hugely influential gentleman in the world of dance music for over 20 years now, and still innovating.
