PNC Bank will open its first downtown branch on the ground floor of 1200 Broadway on Tuesday the 22nd.

Came to this thread on a whim.  @markhollin your photos from 9/27 on changed my opinion of this building.   Had always been sort of meh about it until seeing the west facing shots  and the one looking SW.  Nice.  Thanks for changing my perspective.  Really appreciate your efforts with the photos (all the project photos, not just these).

iHeartRadio is committing to expanding by another 180 jobs in their digital division in 40,000 sq. ft. space at 1200 Broadway.  The state Funding Board has approved a $1.25 million grant to help facilitate the expansion.

1200 Broadway has been sold by Endeavor Real Estate Group to Intercontinental Real Estate Corp. out of Boston for $295 million.  For the 313 apartments that make up much of the building, it works out to around $600,000 per unit, breaking the recent new record of $442,000 for the purchase of The SoBro.

That place scored so big when they got the Whole Foods.     It's also kind of unique for a residential tower to have a couple floors of office space.

Everytime I see a central residential building sell now I get worried that it's going to be converted into short term rentals for tourists.
