Cordish got it right in KC.  They have a formula. It's not all that shocking, actually, but Forbes says it's pioneering.

Oh, I'm so sorry vdogg!!  I just wanted to post an aspirational HINT to the powers that be....   Let's cut to the chase, shall we? The Norfolk waterfront and skyline should have been graced with 1 or 2 gleaming, slender high rise towers out of Cordish by now. But nooo, the City just wouldn't hear of it... as far back as 2014! Wouldn't even discuss it with Cordish! Sought to poison pill the deal before it ever got off the ground!  WOW. Wonder if City leaders are having any second thoughts now...both about Cordish's tower(s) proposal AND ...wait for it...their Casino proposal?!! HAHA! The latter doesn't seem so far-fetched and undesirable in 2024, now does it?  Hmm.
