If indeed the central core is at the 40th floor level, according to the construction documents, there would be 46'-2" to go.. I’m not sure if anyone is 100% on this being the top.

I may have miscounted or be completely mistaken, but I think the rising section is currently covering the 40th floor of the elevator core, which would mean that the current top of the core would be the ceiling of the 40th floor, leaving an additional 25’ or so of height for the mechanical floor and the additional screening.

Based on this angle, it’s safe to say that the core is likely topped out. You can see the hole for the 40th floor elevator entrance.

Btw…I watched the Fox 17 city cam for a while yesterday evening and right before sunset, they moved the core up yet again.  So the other day, the core was not at full height.  Maybe yesterday evening was the final move.  Guess we’ll see.

If you count the balconies from the edge of the building from the rendering and the construction pics it looks like they have one more floor to pour, the penthouse level.

I love the design it's a sleek building Tall but doesn't seem to overpower the area because it's not bulky like 505. Not sure why it's taken Nashville so dang long to build up to 40 floors.

I guess better late than never.

In this shot taken today from the old Jim Reed used car lot, you can see the rebar going up for another penthouse floor.  Though the core seems to have topped out, it is hard to tell from this photo whether there is another floor yet to come.  I recall that when I thought 505 had topped out they added a second story to the uppermost penthouses so maybe there is more.  We like more, right?

In this closer look it appears that some of the steel has elbows, perhaps signaling the top.

Great pictures, it appears that the core still has openings for elevator doors above the floor they are now Starting on. So is there still one or two floors to go. Then the screening for the mechanicals on roof?
