How long until the developers decide that with such success selling the current stock of 4 Seasons condos…they should go ahead and buy the parking lot and add the 2nd tower…at say 700’?

My guess is they are going to concentrate on 2nd & Peabody first. They have another project in the works somewhere. I have an idea where it would be but will not say. I will start reaching out to a certain few. I will not rule out that second tower being their third project though.

With the Ritz Carlton upcoming soon, and other lux developments popping up all over town, demand is definitely there.

In my uneducated opinion, I'd say the probability is high.  Demand?  Check.  Motivated developers?  Check.  Available space?  Check.  Disgruntled neighbors moving?  Check!

Now, if we can just convince the Congress group to employ that all-to-American act of "super-sizing" the second tower to say 650ft, or to TH's 700!!!!

Thanks Rolly. I was born in Connecticut and lived there for 28 years . Was in NYC at least 2-3 days a week. My love for tall buildings is from those days.

Great picture!  Four Seasons is one of the few buildings in your city (or Atlanta lately) that delivered as promised.  It is as tall as predicted, it looks just like the rendering, and the design is great!  It would be a proud and prominent addition if it were built down here in Atlanta, especially in the Buckhead area..

I'd bet my lunch money that it was still curing during the mini cold snap/snow we just had. If I remember right from my concrete days, you ideally want it above 40F for a week after it's been poured, otherwise it will crack and spald more easily. Obviously there's a lot of flexibility to that depending on the location and the project, but I wouldn't be surprised if Four Seasons has some strict standards.

The Four Seasons’ luxurious top-floor condo will be split in two and sold as individual units, developers announced today.

The Congress Group and AECOM Capital said in a news release that the decision was driven by high demand for the six half-floor penthouse condos, all of which sold for a collective $57.5 million.

“It’s fabulous to work with a developer who’s able to pivot like this,” said Marie-Laure Frère, director of sales. “I don’t think anybody realized how fast they would sell once they were made available.”

The top-floor “grand penthouse,” which had originally spanned an entire floor, was initially listed for $25 million. Now, the two individual units are priced starting at over $9 million each, Frère said.

I’m betting they wish they were able to build that second tower. Hopefully this is a good sign for all the new high end residential projects getting ready to build.

Yeah…if they could buy that land now (who knows if the owner is still ticked and won’t sell it), that would be the easiest project to get started and completed.  It’s all t’d up and ready to go.

Waiting for the logo and hopefully some kind of lighting, if just at the top. Thought someone said long ago,that there was led light strips around the top.
