J. Christopher's restaurant is the most current tenant in the 1 story brick structure at 2100 21st Ave. South.  Built in 1954, it has 3,844 sq. ft. of space.

I always thought that obscure structure to be a "cute" Li'l ol' building.  Even as recently as the '90s, it had been one of the once many Life of Georgia Insurance Co. branch offices.

The circa 1870 2-story, 2,934 sq. ft. home in Germantown at 1220 7th Ave. North is up for sale.  Will be interesting to see who purchases and for what repurposing, or if it will remain a residence.

From Nashville Post:

In one of the more noteworthy property listings of late, an 1870s-constructed Italianate building in Germantown is now for sale for $895,000.

The building is located at 1220 Seventh Ave. N. and is zoned MUN, which allows office, retail and residential uses.

Phil Ryan, vice president of Nashville-based Cherry and Associates, has the listing. “This beautiful two-story residence is a precious commodity,” Ryan said. “In most respects, it remains as it was in 1870s Nashville.”

Ryan said that during the building’s almost 150 years of existence, its various owners have done “minimal renovation, allowing a new owner the opportunity to adapt the property to a new use from its near original state.”

The owners are individuals who are not active in the local real estate community, according to Metro records.

Marche Artisan Foods is the current tenant on the first level of the one-time home at 1000 Main Street (eastern quadrant of intersection of Main, South 10th Street and Clearview Ave.) There are some offices upstairs. The 2 story, 10,762 sq. ft. structure went up in 1960.

Does anyone happen to have any photos of this building when Hunters had it and had the race car inside?

A group including local real estate investor Darek Bell has bought the home of Tuck-Hinton Architects with plans that could involve a distillery or brewery component.

The group that also reportedly includes Chicago investors paid $6.2 million for the .77-acre site. The location includes the former Elm Street Methodist Church at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Elm Street, which the architecture firm has called home for 22 years.

“We're planning to preserve that unique building,” Bell said about the masonry structure that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The owner of Corsair Distillery, who is also a partner in Bell & Associates Construction, declined to identify his partners in buying the .77-acre site or to offer details on their plans.

In addition to the former church at 614 Fifth Ave. S., which was built in 1871, the purchase included the adjacent parking lots with addresses 610 and 612 Fifth Ave S.

208-210 Broadway was originally built in 1901, but has had some additions over the decades. The combined 18,304 square feet over the 2 and 3 floors is about to become home to Redneck Riviera, a new themed country bar.  There will be a rooftop patio on top of the shorter section. In the second photo you can see how they are digging out the basement.  Quite a feat getting the machinery down into that hole.
