Nudie's Honkey Tonk is the newest tenant of the circa 1920, 3 story, 12,800 sq. ft. building at 409 Broadway. It has been home to Lawrence Record Shop for many decades previously. They finished the massive interior rebuild several months ago, and are open to booming business now.

that back bar is too nice.  when I go to a Honky Tonk i want to see decades old labels peeling off of cabinets that are hanging on by a single rusty hinge.

Yes, but Norma's Dusty Road is long gone! That place was awesome...esp. with the big nekkid painting over the bar. (Was the model a young Norma? Guess we'll never know.)

Ft. Louise the restaurant just opened in the house at 1304 McGavock Pike in Inglewood, that was more recently home to Perk & Cork.  Built in 1930, the 1 story home has 1,446 sq. ft. of space.

Before Pub 5, it was a motorcycle (chopper) themed crêpe shop. It was short lived but opened around maybe 2008. The wall was there at that point in time.

Built in 1894 at 42 Rutledge Street, this stately 3 story brick home has 5,356 sq. ft. of space, and is currently home to the Tenn. Assoc. of Mental Health Organizations, and various lawyers.

Built in 1955, the two story building at 1110 16th Ave. South has housed numerous music business tenants over the years.  The 7,100 sq. ft. structure is currently being gutted and rebuilt for Smacksongs.

The onetime church at 901 Dalebrook Lane in East Nashville that was built in 1957 is being repurposed for office and multi-use space. Here are some renderings of what the 16,335 square foot space will look like when renovations are complete:

Built in 1882, the gorgeous brick structure at 4 Berrien Street at the very back of Rutledge Hill (it borders on I-40 inner loop), will now house Fox Fuel Creative Group. The sprawling layout has 6,500 sq. ft. of space and was purchased for $1.25 million earlier this week.

The stout 4 story, 25,288 sq. ft. Structure at 300 Broadway has served many tenants since built in 1926.  Ryman Hospitality is now spending $20 million to convert it into Ole Red’s honky Tonk, and it will include a rooftop bar.

Originally built in 1929, 1308 16th Ave. South (at Horton Ave.) is a 7,089 sq. Ft. 2 story home that has served many purposes, primarily in the music business over the past 5 decades. Currently being refurbished once again.

The Clementine will be the name of the event center in the former church space at 4708 Charlotte Ave. in Sylvan Park area.  The 8,000 sq. ft. structure was built in 1945.

The one-time home of Fluffo Mattress at 900 Main Street is being retrofitted with an two-story addition on top.  The approximate 8,000 sq. ft. base was built in 1935, and will become an office building.

March Egerton and Dan Heller, who own the property, are adding two floors of Class A office space to the one-story structure, which sits at the southeast corner of Ninth and Main streets and that was once home to Fat Bottom Brewing Co.

The project, a year’s end completion for which is eyed, comes as the business partners are nearing completion on their mixed-use building The Wabash. Of note, New York-based shared workspace provider WeWork — the valuation of which reportedly is almost $17 billion — recently announced it will operate from The Wabash’s 25,000 square feet of office space.

Heller and Egerton have enlisted Hardaway Construction to serve as general contractor and Powell Architecture and Building Studio for architectural duties. Both companies are based in East Nashville.

Not a bad choice, but get a bottle of the Baroness, their Belle Meade Bourbon Barrel aged beer. A really solid contender for the best dark beer in Nashville.

The Valentine bar is the latest tenant to fix up the 1910-era 3 story, 10,131 sq. ft. brick building at 312 Broadway.  The circular balcony, large chandelier give it a unique quality.  They also installed a very nice rooftop bar.

The 3 story brick mansion at 40 Rutledge St. on Rutledge Hill was built in 1895 and encompasses 4,666 sq. ft./ . It's current residents are CMRA, TNCO, and some lawyers.

The six-storey building was completed in 1911.^[3] It was designed in the Georgian Revival architectural style by Shattuck and Hussey, an architectural firm based in Chicago.^[3] Inside, there is a large cast-iron neweled staircase.^[3] Percy Warner, a prominent Nashville businessman, served as Chairman of the Building Committee.^[3] It was dedicated on May 9, 1911.^[3]

The building was home to the Nashville chapter of the Young Women's Christian Association.^[3] The association offered boarding facilities for Christian women as well as a gymnasium and a job centre.^[3] The first floor was home to the Ophelia Clifton Atchison Memorial Library, named for the mother of Nashville banker and philanthropist, John Hill Eakin.^[3]

In 1982, the building was redeveloped as an office building.^[3] It was renamed the Jacques-Miller Office Building.^[3]

Architectural significance[edit]

It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 16, 1982.^[2]

The local producer had offices in the building at that time. (Unfortunately, the musical-which was Marvin Hamlisch's last score-never made it to Broadway.) Quaint building with a tree-lined sidewalk that has always looked lonely there, squeezed between the Bennie Dillion building and that little motel that is now fancied up a little and called the Capitol Hotel. The little courtyard between the former YWCA and the hotel is a cute small urban oasis.}

The home at 2017 Belmont Blvd. was built in 1920, and after having an addition put onto the front, has hosted several restaurants over the past couple of decades.  Currently the PM eatery utilizes the 6,696 sq. ft. of space.

i used to LOVE that burger. the last few times i went, though, they overcooked the glaze. shame, really, as it was my favorite for a long time
