I still think it looks decent, but definitly not as good as I thought when the base was getting worked on. Weird how more of the same could have made it look better...

I think it looks fantastic. That's why I want more of it. :)

Agreed. While this will still be one of my favorite buildings, it still has a sense that it needed 5-10 more stories. I love that it does feel quite massive as you walk by it though; considering it was once a tiny little parking lot.

My thought as well. It doesn't need to be the 38-40 stories it was once envisioned as, but the overall look of it seems to cry out for another layer.

Are the concrete pillars sticking out the top basically the maximum height it's going to reach?

Yep. In one of the renderings you can see a mechanical floor that sits above floor 13. I assume the pillars will reach the max height. I hope they hide most/all the mechanicals inside. It seems like some people forgot about the way the units look on the top of the building. Prime example is Arena Place. Units and pipes everywhere!

I think someone posted that rendering  somewhere back a few pages, but its a good nonetheless!    I do hope they include what appears to be light bars across the top cornices.  It would really add some PIZZAZZ!  :D

Yep, that’s it! I wonder what they’ll do with the mechanical room on top. It never showed up on the renderings. I hope the do something nice to make it look like the rest of the building.

West side occupants of the building on higher levels will have an added bonus:  great view of the Castle.

maybe those space will rent for less for that reason :)

New hotels generally pop up 3-4 months on Marriott's website and it's not up yet. My guess would be a September opening.

I feel like this is a dumb question... can/do they clean the bricks on brick roads? I’m just thinking it would keep things looking fresh over the years, since they are extremely durable.
