Wanted to drop in to this thread for the sole reason to complain about Google inexplicably appearing to have removed the ability to add descriptions to new objects created on the map, allowing only a title and photos now (which is very frustrating). I noticed this as I was adding the Shockoe townhome infill development announced on BizSense last night. And that's why a lot of the new objects only have that and no descriptions. Objects that already existed before this change and had descriptions can still be edited. 

Very annoying, the descriptions contain links and useful information about the developments. Smh

Well that sucks. Can you add a link to the title (like clicking the title and it takes you to an article)?  If that works, it may be the best option. Foo-y!

I think at some point I'm going to redo or make a parallel app to this using leaflet or something similar. I got sick of editing the geometry using the limited digitizing tools they have. I need a project to brush up some web gis skills on - maybe start the database of projects from 2020 til now?
