Site prep has been going slow on this, but there are no underground levels to excavate.  So it should start going up quick once construction starts (if it hasn't already).  The latest word on the tower crane is that it's planned to go up next weekend (07/11 to 07/13).  Here's the crane permit link.

The weeds that re-grew after site prep stopped last summer have been cleared.  It's baby steps with this project.  This project is located at the end of the Rainey St. Entertainment District.  Those little houses are the bars and restaurants (but mostly bars) that make up two blockish entertainment area.  That U/C building on the left is the 17-Story Homewood Suites.  Behind the houses next to the Homewood Suites a ~15-story Cambria Hotel is planned and next to that a 7-story Hotel Rainey is planned.  And all around the Rainey St. district just outside of the view of this photo a total of at least 7 towers between 333' and 700' are planned.  In addition to the 7 proposed towers are some sites that will likely go vertical, but no specific projects have been announced.
