Over on the Raleigh thread we're lamenting the loss of these two historical buildings to be replaced by a 6 story project. 
Same challenge as Nashville - not enough protection of historical assets.

Love the wrap-around porch and columns on the brick home.

Calling out bland is not whining. Lamenting the loss of our city's history is not whining. The fact that the people with the money to buy up historic properties in this town generally choose not to unless there is an overlay protecting the property is regrettable. But do go on.
