Thought some of y'all would like to see what was on this site back in the early 50s when I was a kid.    If these historic homes had been saved, the126-year old Albert Samuel Warren House at 1812 Broadway might have survived rather than being the sole remnant  and subsequently demolished.   As usual the preservationists wait far, far too late before they start screaming about demolitions.  The street corner is where Gigi's Cupcake shop and Hattie B's is now.  The third house is the Albert Samuel Warren House.  Hmmm.  I do not recall the house beings so close to the street.  Was Broadway reconfigured to the diagonal it is today?  This looks like a 90 degree intersection and there was a lot more front yard  at the  Albert Samuel Warren House before it was demolished.  Anybody know?  Edit:  looked at a 1877 street map.  broadway was always skewed.  Funny that the  front yard of the Warren House looked further back from the street  than in this photo.

So how long do we think it will be before we get a mid-rise/high-rise development on the Hattie B's location? I would think we would have a 5 story podium (no parking because they could share with this development) and then a possible tower up against the hotel tower.

It's there but I'm sure you found it by now.  It's listed in the Tallest Under Construction section as Regent Apartments, 26 stories at 317' tall.  Like you've asked, where is this person keeping the Wiki page getting these heights from?  Smeagols mentioned on about page 4 "will rise about 295 feet" which has been the only mention of height in this thread and that's what the thread title has as well.  Who's right?

No, the "about 295" just means the document referenced was probably 295 ft 4 inches, etc. No problem!

No, I didn’t take it that way at all, and I know for a fact the all numbers on on the Wiki page are not correct. Some are and some are not. All I am saying is when I put something on the map, it is usually from a schematic I have seen directly from the engineers submission to Metro.

In reference to comments discussing what may become of the blank wall on the West side of the development, newest images display a really nice mural/art installation that is lit at night. Hopefully they can deliver on that and it isn't just a fluff feature limited to the renderings.
