Ugh, looks like Rhythm II.

I’ve been as harsh a critic of Rhythm as anyone on here, but I drove past it on south loop the other night and the way they light it is actually pretty flattering. They really bring the most out of the design at night.

I haven't seen it lately.  I think it has gotten a little better over time.  Mostly because other buildings that have popped up have helped camouflage it.  I do appreciate it being a pioneer in its beginning.

Hopefully this building looks a little better once completed.

I really hope they do something to make those huge grey/beige walls less glaring.

I'm pretty sure it's not done yet. All of the renderings clearly show a treatment there of some kind, and part of the front facade is still bare concrete as well, so I'm thinking that they are just saving those parts for last.

This building's Interstate noise will be the best in the city:tw_grimace:

Army brat, here. When we were stationed in Heidelberg, DE we lived close to the autobahn and it put me to sleep so very fast. That drone isn't the worst thing in the world, imo.

I hope so! It looks like it is a giant EIFS wall that they knew they wouldnt spend money on because of the highway.

Patience is not a strong suit at times.....

I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore at the cost to live here, but these units certainly are pricey.

  • Studio at 506 sq ft is about $1,600
  • Top floor facing the interstate for a  2 bd at 1,630 sq ft is $5,966 a month.....yes you read that right.
  • Or you can get the 2 BD 1,066sqft on just the 6th floor facing downtown for a reasonable $2,745
