It's different and I don't hate it like I did from the other renderings. Definitely gives that side of KVB a more interesting structure. Do wish it was taller, especially on that hill.

Even like 10 stories taller would have made it more interesting.

I think the offset window frames are Eakin's idea of stimulating and creative design.

Design wise, it feels like someone was on the losing end of an argument with their significant other about what color subway tile was going into their kitchen backsplash. So, when presented the opportunity, the designer finally got the black subway tile they always wanted.

Would love to see a 50-story big boy go at that corner and smother views from eakin's box. And if that were announced today, it'd definitely impact his rents.

It will be blocked by Hensler's building and whatever future building is built in the parking lot in front.

Yeah, truthfully, it is a boring design, but not an offensive one.  What really bothers me about it is not the relative lack of aesthetic beauty, but rather, the way in which it seems Eakin went out of his way to make this as insular as possible.  It doesnt address the street at all and looks like it would be more at home in Cool Springs.
