This is a handsome building, but it seems pretty "cold" or barren. Lots of empty expanses of concrete. The green, treeless lawn seems a wasted opportunity.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are any dependencies on the parking garage being built by the city. I believe having Peabody Place finished is the only dependency for Hensler to proceed with the residential tower and retail space

I was looking to see if paper work had been filed for Hensler tower to go in front of the DTC. As far as I can tell nothing has been submitted and I am pretty sure they will have to go there for final approval.

I know a lot more as far as the number of unit but I will not say just yet as it may be off a little.

Maybe just not the timeline we had hoped for but not the fault of Ray Hensler. I think it will be delayed somewhat because MDHA is behind on the parking structures that were already supposed to have been built.

 

There is an active permit for the road extension of Crocket St. that will be extended to KVB, but that permit has not been issued yet.

According to the water sewer permits it looks as if the total units will be in the 500 unit range but it is a little off because the permit I think says 530, but you have to remember that this is a mixed use building and there will be bathrooms and restaurants in the mixed use section so you have to subtract those from the total.
