The one area that comes to mind for a decent chance in Nashville, is the Beaman and/ or Reed District. They could include such stores in the base of their projects along with underground parking and buildings on top. The East Bank would probably be the only other area close in to the CBD that could possibly have room for big box or destination shopping.
