This indeed looks very nice. Sounds like it will be in the same line as Verdae. The plans you linked to are just for Phase 1, correct?

Seems like a great development, though wish it was in a city.

Smith Rd being abandoned also doesn't seem like a good idea.

So how far is this from city limits? Surely the city would try to annex this property, if not, it almost seems a waste.

Correct. Only for phase 1 which is 82 acres out of 611 total for the project. To compare, Verdae is 1,100 acres. Signage and survey stakes are up at the site along Highway 14 so construction should be starting shortly.

Latest Hartness announcement shouldn't be totally overshadowed by County Square: it will include an inn adjacent to the original home capable of handling "up to 300 guests."

With about 60 rooms. https://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/money/2018/04/26/hartness-family-proposes-converting-5-000-square-foot-home-grounds-into-luxury-inn/533044002/

Patterson Kitchen and Bar to open in late March while the one 05 will open in May.

Patterson Kitchen and Bar is set to offer a one-of-a-kind experience with outdoor waterside dining options to go alongside Southern and international cuisine. A preview of the menu includes crab stuffed ahi tuna, duck cavatelli and charred tomato bisque with four different kinds of seafood. The seasonal discretion of Chef Tanner Marino's menu will be highlighted by produce and ingredients from an on-site farm near Hotel Hartness.

The one 5 will feature local Upstate-based ingredients and dishes made from scratch. It also will include sharable plates, Brussels sprout salads and lollipop wings using a brick oven.
