BTW, the Feds put Hoffa on trial in Nashville for corruption and he stayed at the Noel Hotel during the trial. While at the Noel, they bought off one of the jurors and got a hung jury. The Feds re-tried Hoffa in  Chattanooga and he was found guilty of jury tampering and went to prison.

A little Nashville history.

Maybe he's buried under Lake Palmer? ;)

Developers want to add condos to the 10 story structure. Under revised plans, the nine 1,500 square foot condos will each have 115 square foot balconies with views of Nissan Stadium and the Cumberland River. They will sit atop the portion of the building where a Tandur Indian Kitchen fast-casual restaurant is also planned.

Here is another rendering:

I can’t  imagine living directly above an Indian restaurant, I would end up weighing 600 lbs. It’d be like a monk living above a strop club, except the smell would be amazing.

This makes absolutely no sense! If the Condos are 1500 Sq. Ft. and a hotel room, lets say is 250 Sq. Ft., then they will lose money. If they sold the condos for a million, then a hotel room based on a $100 av. Daily Rate which is low would generate that much income in 5 years tops and they would have to take 36 rooms in order to do the 9 condos.

There will be no views, even if they built them on top the hotel and put them on 30 foot stilts you will not be able to see the Cumberland or even downtown from that location.

The Tri Branded Marriott and the HI will block those views, not to mention the Margaritaville hotel once it is built. Someone has his turbin too tight.

I was trying to work that out too. Maybe the way the hotel floor plan is going to work that space wouldn’t have been easily accessible to the rest of the rooms? Maybe the condos will have their own elevator and they’re just tacking then on to an unused portion of the building? I’m sure it has to make sense on some level..
