I will certainly post a sufficient amount of pics seeing that I will be staring at it for months.

I am excited to see what this does facing KVB.  Does anyone know if the Hampton will do anything different facing KVB?  All they have is a turnstile door that's locked.

One thing I really love about this is that this design and size of the hotel will help detract from the less-than-stellar designs of the Hampton Inn and Hyatt Place hotels.

The rendering puts it at about level with the also-21-story Encore, which is allegedly 268 feet tall.

I'm not sure which is more exciting: To finally see that hideous building be torn down, or to see a new hotel rise in its place. I would've even welcomed an empty surface lot over that awful mustard-yellow eyesore.

The Hyatt Place is not quite so hideous when viewed from the front corner-the side of the structure that was designed for "visual consumption." (But I'm delighted that the Hyatt's heinous back side will soon be hidden from view!)

Very True and when the Drury gets built, the other side will be hidden from most of the public eye.
