^Club Crush for me lol. Man, that place was booming back in the day before epicentre opened up. However, when I went to crush, it felt like I was in such a desolate part of the city. Like the outer perimeter (literally).  Oh how things have changed.

I was going there way back when it was simply called 300 Stonewall. Think that was late 90's or maybe 2000. Uptown was a very different place back then.

Ugh, why do all these awesome towers ALL have to be apartments. Hope we can get a condo project in the next few years. There's gotta be a decent market for them since the supply seems to be limited (highrise /277).  Skye, avenue, trademark, courtside, 230. All but one are over a decade old.

Lenders would lend for condos then. You must self finance now, or be willing to spend 5+ million per acre on land, a few million on marketing, millions on design, engineering, planning approval and then sell 50%, and then, if all goes well by that point approach a lender about financing. If you self finance, you still have to do all that stuff and then pray someone is willing to buy your $600-700 psf shoe boxes when their wages haven’t gone up in 5 years. Charlotte buyers with that kind of moola buy in Dilworth, Myers Park and etc.

^^^ True most condo projects are just boutique projects with hefty price tags mainly in Myers Park right now.  Otherwise it is townhomes.

This project is basically perfect infill in my opinion.

This project is inching along. Question: is the front portion still going to have that tall “fin” on the front, or has that been value engineered?

I mean it was approved with it, but I'm going with the "Value Engineered" opinion.

Today and this tower looks good and like how it comes to a point almost at the Caldwell end.

The glass is gorgeous.

They are almost halfway up with glass on the Northwood Project.

Drive by and really like this tower the thinness the glass the whole project.  Earlier today with no sun.
