Do you think she'll notice or care when the fairgrounds is not only NOT demolished, but is improved dramatically at no financial cost to her?  Oh who are we kidding?  For some this was obviously all about the foreigners and... ya know... *wink wink* THOSE people that come with dense residential development...

Freeman offering a solid amendment. Saying if the team or ownership leaves/changes hands then the aren't able to collect revenue anymore.

An ordinance to amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by changing from IWD to SP zoning on a portion of property located at 300 Rains Avenue, east of the terminus of Benton Avenue (10.0 acres), to permit a mixed-use development, (10.0 acres), all of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2018SP-047-001).

 

This one is being discussed:

 

An ordinance declaring property surplus and approving the execution and delivery of a ground lease between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Board of Fair Commissioners, and Nashville Soccer Holdings Development LLC for the construction of a development at the Fairgrounds Nashville (Proposal No. 2018M-021PR-001).
