NashvilleSC really is an amazing story, and it’s worth making multiple episodes about the story. Praying the story continues in a very positive light!

Nashville SC CEO. Ian Ayer did an interview about how the coronavirus pandemic has effected the startof the team's first season.  He said this about the progress of the stadium:
 

The one thing that was holding us back a few months ago is now the one thing that’s striding forward. The demolition has continued and it’s in really good shape. We’re on time now and back on track. It’s a real positive in a world with a lot of negatives.

We feel like we’ll be able to pin a completion date in the not-so-distant future. It’s a moving target, but everything is moving forward. The demolition and design work has been able to move forward through the crisis so that’s something we’re excited about.

Dear Nashville SC Fans, First, I want to thank each of you for your resilience, strength and continued support as our community manages through the widespread and unprecedented impact of COVID-19, and heals from the devastating tornadoes that hit our city and region just a few weeks ago. When our club entered its inaugural season in Major League Soccer in January 2020, we could not have anticipated the hardships we were all about to face. Since then, our Never Give Up On You anthem has become our own promise, and a collective call and commitment from our community to support one another. As we have previously mentioned, our staff continues to work remotely and build upon the success of our opening game on February 29, to ensure that we can provide you with an even better experience and atmosphere upon our return.  Even as we are all fighting through these trying times, serving our fans with the greatest product is a priority for us, and this took another step forward recently, bringing a talented and dedicated group of broadcasters and a production company who will bring all of the action live from stadium, whether our Boys in Gold are at home or on the road. Yesterday we formally welcomed Tony Husband, Jamie Watson and Lori Lindsey to the Nashville SC family as our local broadcast team. Simultaneously, and as you may have seen in many of our channels, we have been working tirelessly on the stadium front following the agreement reached with Mayor Cooper, to move forward with the construction of our future home at the Fairgrounds Nashville. Following the news in mid-February, demolition began on March 16 and is progressing steadily and in a timely fashion. As the work continues onsite, I’m excited to share that we have also completed our construction documents, which is a key milestone in the design phase and overall process. Given the size, scope and challenges in building what will be the largest soccer specific stadium in the U.S., and without certainty of how COVID-19 will continue to impact our lives, our stadium project team has tentatively identified a substantial completion date of mid-May 2022. The group is currently reaching out to suppliers and contractors, and construction will commence after demolition wraps up. It is impossible to predict the actual date with any level of certainty in the current environment, but we will continue to monitor gains or losses on timing and keep everyone informed as we progress. We remain excited about the 2022 season in our new home and fully committed to bringing the 2020 MLS season back to Nashville and all our fans as soon as possible. In the meantime, I want to thank you personally for continuing to support our team. We will never give up on you and we appreciate you not giving up on Nashville Soccer Club. No joke. And what a time to launch an expansion franchise. You get all that momentum then... POOF. On the plus side, the next home match (whenever that may be) will feel like the first match all over again.

It seems we may know more specifics with the stadium soon as this post was shared to the Nashville SC reddit by a printer. The rendering on the cover features some very slight differences with the addition of real logos and some flags.

Volume 1 is purely SD sets, correct?

Actually no. All 4 volumes will be for Construction Documents. You can tell how many volumes for this phase by the label two lines up from the volume number. Drawing packages need these clearly seen so that all who look at the drawings know what phase the drawings are related to. Depending on how the architects arrange their drawing, volume 1 could be mostly structural or architectural drawings.

For anyone that didn’t realize this, I sure didn’t, Ian mentioned in his letter to fans that the new stadium will be the biggest soccer specific stadium in the US. That’s incredible to hear, and it almost doesn’t seem right. If true we should all be proud!!

Stadium Update: Bidding for construction materials currently taking place.

Trial Update: On Friday, SOF's motion to delay the trial because of Corona affecting trial preparations was granted. Trial has been rescheduled for August 10-13 instead of June 6th. SOF will try and delay further I am sure.

BTW, phase 2 demo permits were released this week for the remainder of the buildings there.

A bigger victory than if this went straight to trial. They are now complete nuisances. Who's paying their legal bills?

I think the guitar guy is, but they also ask for donations a lot on facebook. 

Additionally I think their lawyer likes that he is getting press for this.

5 more fairgrounds buildings are set for demo with another $200,000 permit being granted to Renascent Inc to handle the work.

Nashville SC has announced its official MLS broadcast partner.

According to a news release, Fox 17, MyTV30 and CW58 of Nashville will return as the team's official TV broadcast partners when the the season resumes.

To celebrate the partnership, the team's inaugural match, against Atlanta United FC, will re-air May 9.
