This has to be a good sign for the possibility of getting World Cup matches.

Is it a good sign, or is it a consolation prize? I figure if we have very strong attendance, that will help our case. If we don't get the world cup game, this game will have a good impact on the economy.

I think it is a good sign. it is a little early for consolation prizes since World Cup is 2026. As long as Nissan is gonna get upgrades by then I think we are a lock.

Saturdays match was so awesome. I really think the new stadium will be the hottest ticket in town. I bought a bunch of tickets for 2022 knowing I can flip them easy when I can't use.

We have a really good team, and the supporters section is great, even in Nissan Stadium. It’s gonna be awesome in the new stadium. I’m heavily considering season tickets, but want to see how bad getting there will be first.

Here is the link to the Fair Board Stadium Update Presentation. I will also include snapshots of the renderings below.

I wish they would have left the racetrack a little more room on the northwest side instead of building the roadway right up to the grandstand.  This would have allowed SMI to build the new grandstand even on both sides of the finish line instead of having to loop it around to the south.  Also…would have allowed the possibility of expansion (a little) and better access.  Block B then could have been built slightly higher to make up for the sq footage.

Just further reinforces that the city leadership was not considering a protected entity during their closed door negotiations
