Neither are cities I'd want Nashville to model itself after, but they are fun to visit. I guess we've got to cater to all of these tourists somehow.

This isn't bad. Everything we get can't be a Ritz (our tourist base doesn't demand it).  The other boutique hotels will certainly provide the panache and sparkle that some people want to see and experience so we should be okay. This one might actually be fun. I'm still hoping for a big Hard Rock Hotel, it is Music City after all. Of course I'd take a Fairmont, too!

I don't know why but I strongly feel a Four Seasons Hotel will be announced for Nashville in the near future. It just fits their brand for some reason (they like going into new destinations that haven't had their level of luxury hotels) and they've expressed interest in Nashville in the past. I guess this is just on my wishlist but it would fit really well in the 2nd avenue sobro towers if they are built.

Ooh - that’s a nice development. I wonder if they’ll be rental pooled with the hotel rooms or people might actually live there? I have to admit that I’d love daily maid service (which you have to buy in such a scenario).

Not many details...just adding 52 timeshare condos. Repeats the Starbucks, JWB steakhouse and XM Station in the 1st floor.

I had heard that 'Little Richard' lived in the top floor of the Hilton next to the arena.  Of course, Minnesota Fats lived in the Hermitage Hotel so I guess it's a thing for celebs to meet guests and get a room. Maybe that's what they are going for.

Pretty sure Little Richard had a place in the "Riot Hyatt" on Sunset in LA.  Both times I stayed there, I ran into him in the lobby.

That is interesting about Little Richard.  The one time I ran into him in Nashville was at the downtown Hilton.

He was at St. Thomas Hospital the same time my Mother was there a year or so ago, so he had some connection with Nashville. You never know who you'll run into in Nashville.

I laugh when I see a hotel reduce it's size.  Have they not learned from Omni and Hampton Inn?
