So they are starting on floor 4.   That's one floor per year, since we first got word of this one.  I think my impatience is due to the fact I can't wait to see it.  I feel this one is going to tie the skyline together and make it more cohesive from several different angles.  JW and Westin seem really far away from core when coming in from southeast but this will make it much better.

Those blue caps appear to be laid out in lines but at random distances apart.

You're right, I may have been wrong in my assessment earlier. Looking more closely now, they appear to be rebar "chairs" that allow the rebar to remain in the proper vertical location once it is laid down. Otherwise the concrete workers have to go around the wet concrete and pull the rebar up into the proper location and that is never accurate.

I’m not sure. The other crane looks like it can reach the entire site, and the base for the one that is coming down was in kind of a weird spot. Now that the other hotel is at street level, they may only need the one.

It's either one of three issues, they are just going to use one crane and slow the project down a little, take both cranes down and stop construction,  or suspend construction on one of the projects. 

I am thinking just crane.
