What is all of that wire or whatever it is at the top of the building at the end of the ramp?  It looks like some kind of scaffolding or something but I'm not really sure.

That 1 Hotel is so overshadowed there, sharing a platform with the 30 story hotel.  Hopefully it carves out an identity and footprint of its own.

The hotel is going to feature a lot of greenery on its facade, it’ll stand out, IMO.

Their publicity materials now state that at 508 rooms, this will be the largest Embassy Suites in the United States. Opening will be first quarter of 2022.

Behold the largest Embassy Suites in the USA!  It looks good opposing the JW.    I wonder what the 2nd largest Embassy Suites is... usually these are wide buildings - not so many approaching 30 levels.

The largest Embassy Suites is 512 rooms, at Niagara Falls. So, Nashville will be #2, assuming the final room count is 508

The Embassy Suites Niagara Falls is in Canada. (The claim in the post earlier is that ours is the biggest in the USA.)

1 Hotel update: placing new trim on facade of pedestal that was damaged during construction.

For about a year I have been wondering what the west face of 1Hotel would look like with these louvers on the big window.  Now it appears the horizontal rails will be black as they are removing the protective film today.   I suppose these things are designed to cut down on the evening sun as it shines on the lobby, bar or whatever is behind the window.  It will be nice to get Eighth Avenue back.
