Today is too cold and snowy for a guy that has had 3 spine surgeries in the past 12 months. How about April or May for another one? We used to meet at the coffee shop on Fulton east of the river - can't remember the name. Used to do lunch visits to some of the projects ie the old Aneheiser Busch warehouse on Grandville Ave

Yes, the Lunch n Learns that GRGridGirl used to help put together. We toured 38 Commerce and a couple of other projects too.

I think the coffee shop was Urban Mill?

ICCF Hosts Short Films from the New Urbanism Film Festival

New Urbanism is making places people love - walkable neighborhoods, tree lined streets, neighborhoods with mixed housing and job opportunities, parks and green spaces, architecture and design within the context of the environment, celebrating local history and resources.

The films in this series touch on ideas of density, design, walkability, urban cycling, displacement, public art, parking, etc. Our hope is that this event helps cultivate conversation and thought about these diverse issues and more! Plus, it'll be a fun night out! Tickets are $3.

Co-sponsored by the Congress for New Urbanism - Michigan Chapter.
