The Parisian Hotel has been given the go ahead by the city. https://www.citizen-times.com/story/news/local/2020/01/10/parisian-hotel-plan-approved-asheville-downtown-commission/4425022002/

The article mentions that they have submitted plans to the city, but I can't find any such submission on the city's website, FTP site, or on simplicity. This sort of stuff was a lot easier to find back in the days of the Development Mapper. So we know they are adding "some floors" but we don't know how many, we don't know what they will be doing with the awkward space between the sidewalk and the building, and we don't know if and how the three different buildings in the development will be connected together.

They are adding two floors making it six stories facing Pritchard Park and seven stories facing Commerce Street. Looks about as good as could be hoped for, honestly; my one nitpick is that appearance of the second floor on the back of the building (Commerce side), to the left of the entrance, should match the area on the third floor above it rather than the area on the first floor below it.
