Thought so too! I was going to post "Flo's Bro?" I have never seen her without bangs... and that brow & jawline. Ugh! Plus, a painting seems like an awful lot of work for a concert that will be over in a couple of weeks. But then maybe that's why it's not a good likeness of her... a quick hit perhaps?

So, part of the promotion budget goes to paid the side of a two story building for ONE concert?  Is this now a billboard for concerts?

I had the same reaction, but.... it’s not that far off.

Right... It's technically accurate, but little details like getting the smile wrinkles right, putting emotion in the eyes, (and not painting stripes on dozens of tacky telephone poles) can keep public art from being nauseating.

...and the artist has given Florence a receding hairline.     But, then I ask myself, could I have painted a building size portrait of a person and not have it come out looking like a 6 yr old's refrigerator drawing?    Probably not, so I'll go easy on them.     Maybe it's not finished.

For those who don't know, this is made of flimsy sticks that dance and sway from the slightest breeze. It's actually quite interesting and beautiful, like some sort of kinetic sculpture.
