Come on Endeavor, give us something better than a 70s country theamed mural. This is so Nashville and we deserve a whole lot better than this.

hmm.   I'm ok with a mural there, just don't think we need one with a giant "NASHVILLE" on it.   As if we need to be reminded where we live.  

And the landscape with the mountains and what appear to be fir trees doesn't look like Middle Tennessee.    Looks more like the Adirondacks.

Yeah, that 'Nashville' on there will get old quick. Glad to see the Tennessee cone flowers on it. But that is not middle Tennessee. Geez my pic from last year is better than this:

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like the mural. I especially like that the guy with the guitar is facing Lower Broadway -- intentional or not, it's a great representation of all the musicians who come here and start out on the small stages downtown with dreams of making it big.

The walls in the rendering didn't appear to be as massive. Why couldn't they just leave it blank, or add spaces for frequently-changing temporary signage... to promote the Titans, Predators, CMA Fest, etc. I think it just looks cheap to put a flowery mural on it.

I think I would prefer the blank wall.. This is hideous and the coniferous vegetation looks more like it should read "Denver" instead and the coneflowers depicted are not anything like the endangered species of the Tennessee coneflower.  They grow in cedar glades which are flat shelf bedrock with poor soils.  They wouldn't be caught dead on a hilltop as depicted.   Murals should be relevant to the area being promoted, I think.   Case in point.... my barn.  Here are pics of it.  Columbia and Lewisburg are really big on horses, so I painted one on the side of the barn.  Very relevant, you see.  Of course, the horse is Neolithic (the White Horse of Effingham in England.   I host medieval re-enactment groups here like the SCA and LARP groups.   The motto is in 13th century Welsh and is even more revelant.   Oh, yeah, for those of you  illiterate in ancient Welsh.... it translates to "Behold the city of stone!" .  What else could I put on my barn here in Middle Tennessee but "SEE ROCK CITY"?
