hmm.   I'm ok with a mural there, just don't think we need one with a giant "NASHVILLE" on it.   As if we need to be reminded where we live.  

And the landscape with the mountains and what appear to be fir trees doesn't look like Middle Tennessee.    Looks more like the Adirondacks.

Yeah, that 'Nashville' on there will get old quick. Glad to see the Tennessee cone flowers on it. But that is not middle Tennessee. Geez my pic from last year is better than this:

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like the mural. I especially like that the guy with the guitar is facing Lower Broadway -- intentional or not, it's a great representation of all the musicians who come here and start out on the small stages downtown with dreams of making it big.

You know you're in Nashville when you have a beautiful building with a grand entrance with a utility pole smack in the middle of the front.
