I know there is another venue going in there, but I doubt Steve Smith will demolish it and build a new structure. Too expensive.

Has anybody heard of any movement on the fountain installation at the Deomnbreun hill roundabout?  I know when I was living at skyhouse they rolled out plans and we’re fundraising for it. Curious whatever happened to that

The price tag has gone up 2 million to 12 million since 2018 when it was first introduced. I was just looking at the website last week. I don’t look for this to happen anytime soon as they are still begging for alms.

As much as I wish the deep pockets of Music Row and Belle Meade would just cough up enough money to get this done expediently, I’m almost to the point of hoping the city would get involved. Unfortunately, the city doesn’t have the best record of installing and maintaining things of this sort. If I had a million dollars to spare, I’d toss it in the hat for this landmark project!

Metro does not need to pay for another project. It is about time some of these deep pocketed millionaires we have here start contributing a little to the arts scene if they want stuff to happen. Seems as if all they want to do is open bars and get people drunk and make more money.

No civic pride with these people.
