After posting the children's theatre dragon earlier today, I started thinking about another Nashville public arts asset that is related to our young people. The Nashville Public Library has a long history of educating and entertaining children through their puppet/marionette programs. The library has a vast collection of puppets and frequently hosts an international puppet festival. A recent development has been a show about the history of country music called String City. My former Opryland co-worker Brian Hull heads up this library department nowadays, and his team does outstanding work!
