My vote would be for the firm that proffers the classic NYC Flatiron design. Maybe a little bit of Louis Sullivan high transom windows.

Wow! Louis Sullivan reference.

I guess this puppy isn't dead after all.  Developer Mark Cleveland says a five judge panel will pick between two finalists for the architectural design on match 27th.  The two are TheArchitect Workshop and Tuck-Hilton. The plan now calls for 14 stories and offer 240 rooms on the tiny .15 acre triangular lot at Lafayette and Division.

Metro Councilman Freddie O'Connell, in whose District 19 the site of the future hotel sits, will host the event. The judges are Asia Allen (an architect with Gresham Smith), Gary Gaston (NCDC executive director), Metro Councilman Fabian Bedne (an architect), Colin Reed (CEO of Ryman Hospitality Partners) and architect Manuel Zeitlin (founder of MZA).
