It's amazing how quickly you can build something if you don't have to excavate.  This thing is going up FAST!

Midtown is getting swole. Imagine how much more if not for Lake Palmer and the dealerships...

It’s a relatively cheap design, I suppose. Good thing is that since this is in midtown it shouldn’t look like every other building like it would in SoBro

They averaged a floor every 7-10 days once they got past the garage. Not bad considering the weather. Have been stuck on 13 for a couple of weeks now, though.

So far this building looks like one built in the 1960s.  That side shot looks very similar to the Olin Engineering building on Vandy's campus.

Gradiant finishes on the exterior is always hard to achieve and this is a shining example of why. the blending has to be done so perfectly it is hard to achieve. I applaud for attempting to bring the finish to life, but execution definitely missed the mark.

The cladding is nearly complete.  Some portions, where it is a solid white color, look fine.  The gradated sections of gray to white don't work so well.  But, overall, I think this is actually looking better than the initial renderings.

They are moving A/C and electrical units to the roof today, I can't imagine this crane stays up much longer.

For as quickly and cheaply it was constructed, it looks pretty great. We can only hope the base design has changed significantly from the initial renderings.

It’s density, and adds supply to a hotel room shortage in Nashville, but not my favorite design.

Glad they at least did away with that dark grey gradient.  The tan / burnt orange looks a bit better.  Still...quite an ugly design.
